Why we built this.

Pass It On exists because the hardest part of inheritance is the part nobody plans for: the meaning. A will divides property. It doesn't divide the story.

We started this project after watching too many families spend more energy untangling old grievances than honoring old gifts. The thing on the shelf was rarely the problem. The problem was that nobody knew which thing it was, or why it sat on that shelf in the first place.

So we built a quiet, private place to write it down. Photos of the objects. The names of who gave them. The reasons they're loved. And a way to share — slowly, on your terms — with the people you want to receive them.
